In 2021-22, The People’s Parish worked in 9 different communities across Scotland. (Click through the photos for more information.) The project was funded by Culture Collective, a network of 26 participatory arts projects, shaped by local communities alongside artists and creative organisations,. Culture Collective was funded by the Scottish Government’s emergency COVID-19 support for the arts through Creative Scotland.
In 2023-24, The People’s Parish extended its work in 4 new communities including Craigshill (Livingston), Nether Lochaber, Pathhead (Midlothian), and Cumnock (Ayrshire).
In 2024-25, new projects are beginning in Arbroath (Angus) and Morton (Dumfries & Galloway).
